Ballet de Monterrey is a classical ballet company full of dynamism, versatility, with personality and latin soul.
It has been highlighted in national and international scenarios where it has been ovationed by the most discerning public.
Founded in 1990 in Monterrey Nuevo León, thanks to the vision and initiative of a group of altruistic people who have the same commitment to the culture and national development of artistic expression.
At the head of this great company since its foundation is Ms. Yolanda Santos de Hoyos, who took the task of forming a committee with members of the local industry that allowed the creation of this important project in the history of dance in Mexico.
The cultural offer of the company capitalizes a great experience and professional growth that contains a wide repertoire of classical, neo-classical and contemporary pieces, satisfying the discerning tastes of the general public.
Ballet de Monterrey has its own identity in the creation of new proposals, which include Mexican music, giving its particular touch on every tour abroad.
Ballet de Monterrey has grown year after year, along with the artistic quality of its cast, the large number of features presented, and of course, the large numbers of visitors in the theaters where it occurs, giving rise to an increased uptake of new spectators.
