US Aviation Academy

US Aviation Academy (USAA) allows registered USAA students and instructors to access training materials such as videos, FAA publications (Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, Instrument Flying Handbook, FAR/ AIM), syllabi, sectionals and approach plates and much more.

This FREE version includes access to some FAA and USAA training publications, training videos and information about airline pilot career training. It provides you specific links to our website for additional information.

The full version can be unlocked immediately with your registration as an USAA student and is customized to your training course. Instructors can easily monitor progress and it facilitates self-study or 141 training efforts with instructor guided tutorials, briefings and videos.

The full version also includes the leading EFB application, eKneeBoard, which provides seamless sectionals and allows for overlay of weather, traffic, practice areas and approach plates. It also allows for easy flight planning. Airport information is at a touch of the screen. Just one tap on the airport and all approaches, current weather, airport information and Airport Facilities Directory are be displayed. You will also have access to USAA’s full training library which includes the aircraft’s Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH), check lists and Flight Operations Manual.

US Aviation Academy is a World renowned FAA Part 141 flight school that specializes in both domestic and international flight training for both fixed wing (airplane) and Helicopter (rotor wing) programs from sport pilot to Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). ALL CHARTS:

FLIGHT PLANNING:
eKneeBoard offers Full Flight Planning tools that allow you to quickly and easily create a flight plan on any of the high resolution seamless VFR and IFR charts. You can also quickly locate intersections, navaids as well as search for the nearest airports and add them to your flight plan without ever leaving the chart! The Flight Planner page also allows you to create a flight plan using the "Smart Auto Route" feature. You can also save/load your flight plans, reorganize way points, auto reverse your flight plan for your return, customize your airplane information, pilot profile information and file your VFR and IFR flight plans.

WEATHER:
eKneeBoard integrated NEXRAD weather functionality includes both an "Animated Radar Mosaic" as well as layered NEXRAD weather information right on your Seamless Charts.

eKneeboard will also get a complete DUAT briefing that is saved to the iPad for offline use.
