LightRx turns your iPhone or iPad into your own portable blue light panel! Traditional light therapy panels can cost $60 to $600. LightRx costs less than a nice cup of coffee, so why not see if it works you?
Light therapy is commonly used to decrease insomnia and improve alertness, energy, and mood. Many travelers use blue light to reset the body's internal clock to match the local time zone. Shift workers use it to help adjust their sleep schedules. Light therapy is also popular with those who experience seasonal mood disorders.
Recent research suggests that green wavelengths might also be effective in light therapy. Unlike most other light therapy products we give you the choice - blue, green, or both.
Directions: Use early in the morning while drinking coffee, eating breakfast, checking email, or doing some other routine task. Launch LightRx, select how many minutes you want to be exposed to the light (just 20 minutes is usually sufficient), then tap the start button. Position the device where you can see the screen, but you don't have to stare at it. An occasional glance will do.
Warning: We do not recommend you use LightRx within six hours of bedtime, as this could cause insomnia.
