The information you need to layout mating fit geometries or fabricate prototypes is at your finger tips.

Additionally, when you have a more demanding fastener problem, for instance Drone Control Linkages, Pressure Tank Bulkhead Bolts , or Engine Head Bolts, BoltBuddy’s torque analysis tool will help you select the correct bolt size, and safe thread depth to protect the internal threads from stripping. The torque analysis can be used for either clamping force or lifting force.

The more commonly used metric fastener sizes have been added, a metric drill index has been added and the user interface has been redesigned to improve the user experience. The shear stress table has been updated using .577 * yield stress to more accurately select the minimum thread depth. A safety factor value for the internal threads has been added to allow adjustments to the minimum thread depth. The fastener material has been fixed with a 57,000 psi yield stress (Grade No. 2) bolt. The rev 2 design has improved accuracy and is easier to use; this app is ready to be put to work!
