Backwoods Home Magazine is written for people who have a desire to pursue personal independence, self-sufficiency, and their dreams. We offer “how-to” articles on owner-built housing, independent energy, gardening, health, self-employment, country living, and other topics related to an independent and self-reliant lifestyle.
We're so excited to have our own app on the iPad that we've made the Jan/Feb 2013 issue FREE for download!

OUR DIGITAL SUBSCRIPTION is $3.99 every two months, for one issue of Backwoods Home Magazine. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel 24 hours before the renewal date. You can also turn off automatic renewal from your iTunes account settings.
HOW TO USE OUR APP:
-Swipe left or right to READ through the magazine.
-Tap weblinks and email addresses to "activate" them!
-Tap the screen to SHOW/HIDE the menu and navigation controls.
-Tap the UPPER-RIGHT CORNER to bookmark a page.
-Tap the UPPER-LEFT CORNER to display the Table of Contents.
