E-numbers are food additives that are permitted by the European Commission. However, not all authorized additives are healthy or safe. This app features:
- A list of all E-numbers
- By E-number the origin, reactions, products where this additive prevents and diet restrictions for vegetarians, Muslims and Jews.
- A search function by number
- A search function by name
- A search on alias
- A short list with grouped E-numbers. This is very useful as a reminder
- Offline database, so the data is always available
- In the free version, only the dyes included. The In-App Full version contains all E-numbers and is paid. The price is visible on the information tab.
As the source for this app are used: Wikipedia, Natura Medica and food-info.net. The mixing of these sources has led to effective concise information in this app.
The information in this app may eventually dating. We do everything to the app up-to-date.
