Step-by-Story apps are designed to engage your child’s imagination while building reading readiness through the proven power of age-appropriate play. Step-by-Story is carefully designed for pre-readers and early readers to help associate words, sounds and pictures in preparation for reading.
Every element of this app is designed to keep your child focused on the right things. The screens feature large buttons that require press-and-hold, so they can’t be pressed by accident. Stories are deliberately short and easy to create, so that the youngest of children can experience the fulfillment that comes from being able to complete a meaningful task without help from an adult.
Every element of the app is build on classic principles of child development and a deep understanding of children’s play patterns.

VeggieTales fans will know that Larry loves music. Join Larry and his friends as they find creative ways to make music with the strangest of instruments, from the Bangamajig to the Strumbrella.
When a child completes a story, their choices are turned in to a charmingly simple animated movie, set to VeggieTales music that ends with an important moral read by Larry himself: “Remember, you can figure it out if you use your imagination!”
