This application is developed by Construction Workers Registration Authority (CWRA) and it provides:

c) Location of current construction sites in Hong Kong

Construction Workers Registration Authority (CWRA) was established on 18 September 2004 under the Construction Workers Registration Ordinance (The Ordinance). CWRA is responsible for executing and managing the implementation of the construction workers registration system.

The Ordinance requires all construction workers who personally carry out construction work on construction sites in Hong Kong to get registered. The first phase of prohibition provisions of the Ordinance has been in effect since 1 September 2007, whereby only registered workers are allowed to carry out construction works on construction sites and employers shall only employ registered workers to carry out construction works on their construction sites.

The remaining phase of prohibition provisions is yet to take effect but when it does, only registered skilled workers or semi-skilled workers (including those provisionally registered skilled /semi-skilled workers) of designated trades will be allowed to carry out construction work of such trades on construction sites. Registered general workers will have to be under the instruction and supervision of registered skilled or semi-skilled workers of designated trades when carrying out work of such trades on construction sites.

建造業工人註冊管理局(下稱管理局)乃根據《建造業工人註冊條例》(下稱《條例》)於2004年9月18日成立，負責執行及管理建造業工人註冊制度的實施。職責包括施行《條例》、監管有關人士的註冊、設定註冊或註冊續期的資格規定。

《條例》列明，凡於建造工地內親自進行建造工作的人士均須辦理建造業工人註冊。由2007年9月1日起，《條例》第一階段規定經已生效，亦即只有已註冊的建造業工人才可於建造工地進行建造工作，而僱主亦只可聘用已註冊的建造業工人。

當《條例》餘下規定生效後，屆時只有指定工種的熟練或半熟練技工(包括持臨時註冊的工友)才可以在建造工地進行指定工種工作；註冊普通工人仍然可以繼續在工地工作，不過需要在有關工種的註冊熟練/半熟練技工的指示及督導下，才可以進行有關工種的工作。
