Your job is to help Hero escape from the super scary distant world he has unfortunately landed on. While survival may prove increasingly difficult as the levels go by, with your assistance, Hero will find all of the tools he needs to survive. Before Hero can escape, even his cat must be found.
Since Hero only has enough super-human energy to fight the marauding aliens, he will have to think fast when it comes to fight or flight. Help in the form of computer parts, top secret files, weapons and more are stashed all over the maps, ready to be uncovered by Hero and his hero, you. Hero is be able to shoot ice to defend himself from the aliens, and shoot fire to help him burst through those pesky ice block walls.
Once all the items for a level have been collected, Hero will receive a key that leads to the next level of play.

8 Bit Super Hero features 30 levels of old school fun hack-n-slash. As the game's Superhero, fondly known as Hero, works his way through 30 levels of 8 bit monster mashing, gamers will be whisked back to a time when 8 bit gaming was a truly amazing feat of technology. However, 8 bit Superhero has more than nostalgia to offer. Hero will meet every imaginable creation on his way to ultimate victory as he faces down Evil Red Mushrooms and Sea Monsters with equal fervor. Hero will even be required to save his cat along the way.
