Have you ever, struggled with a decision? Should I buy a car? Should I have an after lunch ice cream? Should I get married? Some people have no problem to take a decision and others struggle sometimes. Taking decisions can be very energy consuming and sometimes the decisions are made without any effort. Certainly you already asked somebody for an advice or an opinion when you had to take a difficult decision. Sometimes, you may be so indecisive, that all you need is for someone to say Yes or No. Ask a person and they may respond based on the tone of your voice. Yes or No responses may also be influenced by another person’s mood at that moment in time.
This app is the best way to get a truly random Yes or No. Based on the time when you tap on the screen, you will see either a Yes or a No.
Tyche (Greek τύχη) is in Greek mythology, the goddess of fate and the lucky (or bad) coincidence. The app Tyche is a true unbiased decision maker.
In case you find the answer unpleasing, you can try it again until, at that point you’ll be messing with fate.
If you don’t like that answer, then tap again – but doing so would indicate you already have your mind made up, right? Your subconscious mind always knows what the right decision is.

True Random Number generator

Based on it’s architecture the Tyche app is also a true random number generator. The numbers are unbiased, nondeterministic and aperiodic. Based on the time, measured in millions fractions of a second when the user taps on the screen, a random bit is generated. The specified range of numbers determines the amount of required bits to generate the number.
