The purpose of this App is to help isolate a generic type of plastic best suited for a molded part. This simple approach to materials selection is meant only to give a general direction when selecting thermoplastics. Further research and testing may be required before choosing the right plastic for a product. Many formulations and additives create more than 85,000 thermoplastics. This App is not complete nor thorough. It is merely one tool to use during the difficult task of material selection. Steinwall does not guarantee the accuracy of the App data nor are we recommending specific materials for your product. Please use this App only as a starting place and nothing more. We hope it will help.
