Rho helps you decide what asset add to your portfolio, optimizing it by reducing its volatility and diversifying your investments.
Rho offers an incredible easy and quick way to know how much a certain asset is correlated to another one (stocks, indexes, funds…).
Starting from your list of assets, Rho generates a portfolio providing a weight (percentage) for each asset. The composition is calculated to minimize the volatility of the whole portfolio.
Major features:
Evaluation of correlation coefficient between financial variables:
✔ Choose any asset by symbol or name, Rho will retrieve the updated info directly from the web (you don't have to provide any manual entry)
✔ Evaluate up to 4 financial variables at the same time: unlimited number of assets can be analyzed in the full version
✔ Consider any asset you want as reference for the correlation evaluation: you are not limited to the main indexes such as S&P, you can compare your portfolio with a specific fund or a stock or any other index like HUI
✔ Select the time period you prefer for the analysis: you can choose 1w, 1m, 3m, 6m, 1y or 2y
✔ Pick your assets from different markets and check its details:
- a chart of the daily return
- the expected daily returns
- the standard deviation
- the Sharpe ratio
- a chart of the prices
- a chart of the volumes
- the average price
- the average volume
- the last close price
✔ Jump directly to Yahoo! Finance web page to collect any unreported asset's info
Optimization of the portfolio:
✔ Let Rho evaluate the minimum-variance portfolio for you: the portfolio is based on the assets you selected and gives you a clear idea of the weight of each asset
✔ For each generated portfolio, the main attributes are shown to have an easy way to compare the whole portfolio with each component in terms of daily expected return, standard deviation and Sharpe ratio.
Managing of the virtual portfolios:
✔ Save your portfolios to compare them in a single view
✔ Real-time evaluation of the returns of the portfolios
✔ Review the composition of saved portfolios
The differences between this free version of Rho and the full version are:
- limit of the number of assets you can analyze at the same time (up to 4)
- limit of the number of portfolios you can save (up to 4)
