About Sears National Kids Cancer Ride
The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride is one of the biggest and most ambitious charity cycling events on behalf of childhood cancer in the world. Now in it’s 5th year the 2012 event will be an emotional and inspirational adventure beginning in Vancouver on September 5 and completing in Halifax 17 memorable days later on September 21, 2012. Riding in relay style, the selected national riders will each cycle approximately 165 kms per day joined along the way by thousands of other caring cyclists who will cycle shorter, “stage ride” distances in major cities across Canada. At the start and end of each day they will participate in community events and visit many of Canada’s 17 paediatric oncology centres and hospitals where the cancer community will share inspiring stories of strength and hope with cyclists and the media. Together, our cyclists will raise millions of dollars on behalf of charities that improve the quality of life for children, and their families, living with and beyond cancer.

•check out the full calendar of events
•take souvenir photos with the "Souvenir Cam" and post them to Facebook, Twitter and the Picture Blog
•add events to iCalendar right from the app so you don't miss any events
•view embedded map with the route for Sears National Kids Cancer Ride and all the stops along the way. No more worries about being lost.
•You can decide to share your location with your Facebook friends, and see theirs, all from the mobile app.
•Your Facebook friends cans see your progress, if you choose, on the web at the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride website.
Warning: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
