After their award-winning print publication Blow Up, the work of The Pool Collective comes to the iPad in the form of an interactive magazine. Each issue will be free to download within the app, and will showcase new work by members of the collective alongside guest contributors from Australia and around the world.
Pool Collective 01 includes:
- The Beautiful Game. A study of the hallowed grounds where football congregations worship by award-winning photographer Simon Harsent.
- Skin on Wood. Christopher Ireland's evocative portrait series of Australian agency-signed teenage models.
- The Hedgehog & the Foxes. 48 hours in the wonderful world of porn star/boy scout/raconteur Ron Jeremy through the lens of Ingvar Kenne.
- Another Place, Another Time. Sean Izzard’s timeless exploration of childhood memory.
- Weeds. A glorious collection of still life by Danny Eastwood.
- The Pool Grant. Unseen, the grant-funded project by 2011/2012 recipient Brodie Standen.
