THE magazine focuses on contemporary art, conducts interviews with national and local artists, and publishes articles on dining, wine and spirits, cultural issues of the day, as well as art, book, and film reviews.
THE magazine’s mission is to report and to review the arts with intelligence, objectivity, honesty, and integrity, and to generate discourse. We feature interviews and articles on and with art's leading figures and emerging talents including Agnes Martin, Christo, Jenny Holzer, R.C. Gorman, Lucy Lippard, Jasper Johns, Sigmar Polke, Alexander Liberman, Joel-Peter Witkin, Patrick Nagatani, James Turrell, Nan Goldin, Ross Bleckner, Larry Bell, Willem de Kooning, Ed Ruscha, Herb Ritts, and Anslem Kiefer to name just a few.
PURCHASES & SUBSCRIPTIONS
The magazine & MAGetc publish THE magazine’s Tablet Edition twelve times per year and make it available for purchase either by issue or as a monthly or yearly subscription.
-Single Issue Price: $2.99
-Monthly Subscription Price: $1.99 (12 issues per year)
-Yearly Subscription Price: $15.99 for 12 issues
- Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the then current subscription period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and we will clearly identify the cost of the renewal.
- You may manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal options by going to your Account Settings after purchase.
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
