Stock Magnet is the first app for mobile devices to bring the unique analysis of profile distributions into the world of mobile charting, with an emphasis on stocks, ETFs and equities.
A profile is a method for charting a financial instrument based not on time, such as a conventional bar or candlestick chart, but on the distribution of prices over time. A profile "collapses" the standard chart into a bell-curve where you can quickly see what prices have been most-traded over time. The results offer staggering advantages for traders looking for a unique edge in their trading. Profiles provide views of major market levels, called "value areas" and "points of control," that repel and attract trading over time. The profile technique has been used for three decades in the futures industry and is gaining popularity in the stock market as well.
Stock Magnet allows you to chart conventional bar charts, profile charts, or both simultaneously.
