We have compiled a list of our favorite Piedmont wineries, restaurants, wine bars, wine shops, artisanal products, local festivals, activities and lodging for you to choose from as to what best suits your personal tastes and pleasures, starting with over 250 entries.
This land is rich in it's local "Piemontese" table, famous wines and it's local artisanal producers of cheese and salumi. Not to forget that in the middle of Barolo and Barbaresco is the city of Alba, home of the famous "Fiera del Tartufo" Alba White Truffle Fair.

We are a couple of 40somethings who for the past 15 years have been involved in all capacities of the wine industry from retail, wholesale reps, corporate training, importing, building and running our own restaurant/wine bar and now export consultants for Piedmont wineries.
We are both qualified sommeliers and have travelled extensively over three continents visiting hundreds of wineries. But we kept being drawn back to Piedmont and have settled in Neive, in the heart of Barbaresco where we believe some of the best red wines in the world are made.
Since the fall of 2007, we have been living here full time and doing wine & food tours in Piedmont, www.travellanglhe.com. We are now accepted as locals and would like to share our favorites experiences with you.
We constantly visit and evaluate the literally hundreds of wineries on our doorstep and will help you make educated choices when visiting our beautiful region.
