Proxy IOS

Proxy for IOS is a platform application for the Apple ecosystem including your iPhone, iPad, and iTouch. Proxy can access web content, media on your home network, and provide the same access to other devices (including UPNP) such as GTV, XBOX, Western Digital, and others.

Proxy's cloud services provide the bridge and real time access to media content from around the web, from your friends and more, irrespective of the format the media exists in. Proxy’s cloud services act as a media proxy between rich media content and your media players, negotiating signaling, and rendering content allowing you to view media (including flash media) on your IOS device with easy and intuitive folder driven menus.

Proxy also enables you to share your media as well as access your content remotely. Sharing your content with your friends and family is merely a few clicks away. Share your photos, music, and videos and Air Play them to your TV, or access them thrrough any number of other supported devices and media players.

Proxy for IOS also provides additional features enabling UPNP / DLNA servers in your local network, wherever you may be, to access Proxy services and content with the push of button. Additionally, you may play content from the cloud, your network, shared by friends, directly to Media Players, Game Consoles, Connected TV's and more, directly from the app.

Functions in the initial release of Proxy for IOS include;

UPNP Announcer: Advertises Proxy's cloud services to all your local network devices. Have an XBOX, PS3, Western Digital, GTV, or other UPNP or DLNA Media Player? By allowing your IOS Device to be a UPNP Announcer, devices on your local network will be able to access Proxy with no additional
hardware or applications running.

Publisher: Publish your local media indexes through the Proxy Cloud for remote access to all your content and allows you to remotely share your content with friends and family. Windows 7, Network Storage, and more can become remotely available to you and your friends easily by publishing these indexes to the Proxy Cloud.

Proxy Browser: Provides browsing access to the Proxy ecosystem for a large array of web media content such as rss feeds, provides access to file storage services and more.

Web Pinning: Access a website with media and PIN to your Proxy account. This allows playback of most media regardless of the format to any device. Real time conversion provided thru Proxy Cloud Services
