Bone & Joint is the new umbrella brand and online portal developed by The British Editorial Society of Bone & Joint Surgery and hosts its portfolio of prestigious publications as well as a range of new educational services. This app provides orthopaedic surgeons and researchers with full text access to:
The Bone & Joint Journal (formerly JBJS Br): leading research and clinical practice in orthopaedic surgery
Bone & Joint Research: the open access journal for the musculoskeletal sciences
Bone & Joint 360: a bi-monthly digest bringing you the bottom-line clinical message summarised by specialty from the best global orthopaedic literature
Full text is available to subscribers of the Bone & Joint Journal or Bone & Joint 360. If you do not have a subscription, you can access article abstracts and subscribe for full text using the links to our website.
Bone & Joint Research is open access allowing all users to access with no subscription.
The App allows you to:
•Search across all of our journals
•View the current issue of the The Bone & Joint Journal, Bone & Joint Research and Bone & Joint 360
•Browse abstracts, rapidly scan or read full text articles optimised for small screens or in PDF
•Jump within article sections, images and references with dynamic side navigation and internal hyperlinks
•Control article font size with a three-finger swipe up gesture to reveal the font control page on any page
•Access full text via institutional subscription if you are inside the IP range and using wireless internet
•Pair your device to your institution’s subscription
•Access full text via individual subscription using your username and password
•Cache full text articles for reading offline later
•Interactive features, including flipping between articles with a single swipe
•Bespoke viewer shows figures and tables in a pop out window
