Ziggy's Best Birthday is a children's story for children aged 18 months to 5 years. It offers children, parents and caregivers choices of how to enjoy it:

This is a glimpse into the beloved comic character Ziggy and his world, as we join him in his birthday celebration. Ziggy has been in syndication for forty years. He is read by millions of people daily in 600 newspaprs globally. He is the perfect one to bring children these lessons about giving and sharing, about loving and caring, with a new birthday song.
The special message here is teaching children how to protect their skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Children learn to wear their hats and to play in the shade, how to protect their skin and many more important lessons. Brought to us by the Foundation for Global Skin Health Strategies, this is the collaboration of Tom Wilson, Ziggy's owner and illustrator, Marina D'Arezzo, author; editors Dr. William Levis and Dr. Albert Lefkovits; narrated by Dr. Brian Keller and song sung with music by Jon Pousette Dart. It is imperative that children be protected from the harmful rays of the sun, as they are the least able to defend themselves. As informed adults, we know that skin cancer is the fastest growing cancer in the United States. The creators of Ziggy's Best Birthday hope that this story will bring laughter, happy memories to save forever and more birthdays for every child.
