Trip Meister

Trip Meister is a Trip Organizer & Diary app with GPS and map support that helps you keep track of all the trips you make every day. From tracking the number of hours spent driving car pools to the new route you found while riding a bike over the weekend. Trip Meister will help you organize your trips by categories, let you keep track of the total amount of time and distance spent on your trips, and view the trip’s track at a later time.
When the application is disabled, say to take or make a phone call or send a text message, the app will note this and plot the breaks on the track map.

FEATURES
· Trip time, duration, and route can all be recorded and categorized
· Real-time GPS position updates are displayed on a moving map.
· Speed and acceleration (both linear and centripetal) are recorded.
· Daylight/nighttime trips as well as city/highway speeds are recorded.
· Program disruption is recorded so changing apps, sending text messages, receiving phone calls, etc., are noted and displayed on the track screen.
· Trip data is summarized by category and can be e-mailed for off-phone storage.
· Audible tone sounded when the phone exceeds a preset speed limit.
· Individual trips can be viewed either as a route on a map or by individual latitude/longitude points.
· Trip tracks can be uploaded to Facebook, e-mailed, or saved as an image in the phone’s camera roll.
· Trips can be categorized into custom groups or by a person in the contacts list.
· Sunset/Sunrise calculations shown for the current position and day.
· Missed trips can be generated manually.
· Heartbeat shows frequency of GPS updates.
· User can select between map, terrain, or satellite imagery for the map display.
· Acceleration meters show direction and rate of turns along with the acceleration (from a stop) and braking (coming to a stop) rates.

· Parents can track the time behind the wheel for kids with their driving permits. The app provides visual indicators of speed and sudden stops or extreme turns. When you tell your driver “that turn was too fast”, you have a quantifiable value to use.
· Student drivers can keep track of their time behind the wheel with day/night and city/highway conditions automatically collected. Then they can post their status to Facebook, letting their friends know they have been out cruising around.
· Data geeks can track their trips and then e-mail a .csv file that can be uploaded into a spreadsheet for detailed analysis.
