Dr. Roland KOLBE: Surgeon
“I work in a private practice with my wife Dr Anne Kolbe in Reunion in St. Peter, and have since 1995. I attended school in Germany and in Africa (Togo and Niger) which has given me a taste for the tropics. I studied at the Faculty of Medicine in Strasbourg. My Internship & Residency at the Hospices Civils de Strasbourg allowed me to acquire a diploma in General Surgery and Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. To complete my training, I also specialized in surgery of the face and neck as well as microsurgery.
I did my military service as a volunteer technical assistant to the SMC of Saint Denis in 1990 or 1991 and I took care especially for injured and burned patients. It was during this first stay of two years I developed my love for the Island and its people. I moved with my wife and my two children Victor and Roxanne in 1995 in St. Pierre."
Dr Anne Kolbe: Dermatologist
"I had the honor to study at the Faculty of Medicine of Strasbourg. Then I had the chance to benefit from the rigorous teaching and example of the art of Dermatology by my teacher Prof. Edouard Grosshans. It was Professor Ernst Heid extraordinary man of knowledge dermatological trained me to international dermatology and tropical.
I like being active in the profession and I participate in Union Dermatologists and office of the Reunion Society of Dermatology, of which I was President. I am also an active member of the French Society of Dermatology with special mention for lasers. I have had the honor of being invited as a speaker at several conferences for specialists or dermatologists and plastic surgeons."
