Speed Beep alerts you in real time when you approach police video surveillance cameras or speed detectors in Yerevan, Armenia.
Works on GPS capable iDevices and alerts you even when the app is running in background. Thanks to proximity alarm system integrated into Speed Beep, you can drive safely, abide the laws and avoid costly traffic tickets.
Simply launch Speed Beep and let it automatically calculate your distance to the nearest camera or speed detector. After installing Speed Beep, you will be alerted about speed detectors and cameras on crossings of the following streets in Yerevan:
- Tigran Metz/Khanjyan
- Sayat Nova/Khanjyan
- Baghramyan/Moskovyan
- Mesrop Mashtots/Amiryan
- Mesrop Mashtots/Tumanyan
Speed Beep displays your current speed, distance and bearing to the nearest camera or speed detector.
As you approach a camera or a speed detector, the beautiful indicators give you an idea about how close you are to the detected object.
All these is accompanied by a soft, yet noticeable beep sound that warns you even when the app is not running in foreground. The frequency of the beep sound indicates the approximate distance to the closest camera or speed detector.
Through in-app purchase you can buy the PRO version and be alerted about all installed cameras and speed detectors in Armenia.
Speed Beep will automatically and periodically update information about installed cameras and speed detectors. PRO users will always have up-to-date information about newly installed cameras and speed detectors.
Drive safely and abide the laws!
Note: When the switch is ON, the app continuously uses GPS, even while running in the background, which can dramatically decrease battery life.
We are working on to further optimize battery usage, without affecting accuracy.
