Malta Dishes

Malta Dishes is the first Maltese culinary app. The dishes it offers are all timeless and renowned throughout Malta and Gozo, and the recipes are easy to follow from anywhere across the globe.

Malta’s unique history and geography were highly influential on its cultural dishes, and this app clearly attests it! The recipes featured in this app are intended for any day of the week as well as for special occasions, including Figolli for Easter, Honey Rings (Qagħaq tal-Għasel) for Christmas, Maltese Bread, and penny-saver soups like Minestra and Kawlata.

For Maltese locals, it’s an opportunity to learn the old methods used to make traditional food. Most of these methods have been lost due to the fact that they have not always been passed down from one generation to another. For the Maltese living abroad, this app is the perfect way to acquire a taste from home. The rest could explore and learn how great Maltese food is actually made.
