Reckoner is a totally new type of navigation app, while at the same time, one of the oldest and time tested navigation methods. We have tried our very best to make using Reckoner as simple and straight forward as possible. Distilling the very essence of navigation and, types of navigation into their basic principles. The simplicity of the tried and tested compass married to the high end navigation technology made available in the iPhone. A "ComNav" perhaps?

Put simply… How do I get to where I want to go? And, how far away is it?

Whether you are in your car, on foot in the middle of nowhere, in a boat or even a plane. Reckoner can get you to where you want to go.

No matter what your situation, Reckoner can be used to get you out of it, or if needed, into it.

Whether you want to get to a location by car, a location not on any other navigation system, or just a simple latitude and longitude, Reckoner will get you there. In fact, we reckon that if you were stuck in a blizzard with a working phone and connection, just by typing in a location that you know is nearby, Reckoner will always direct you towards it and let you know how far away it is. Or, at the opposite end of the spectrum, if you find an address of a shop in a city while surfing in Safari, copy the postal or zip code, paste it into the search bar and reckoner will take you 'directly' there.

Reckoner is not a full fat, all singing and all dancing app. It's purpose is simple, specific and it just works. This method of navigation has been used for centuries and has been tested and proven countless times. We had just taken it and integrated additional technologies to make it as easy for you use the navigation method and running a search in your browser and getting the result you were looking for.
