Get up-to-the-minute data on quakes that happen near you with an elegant and easy to use interface. Browse over 35 years of earthquake data all beautifully rendered and at your finger tips!

QuakeViz 3D supports the following features:

** A beautiful variety of 2D and 3D maps with pan and zoom functionality. Tap a quake icon on the maps to see more detailed information.

** View detailed earthquake information including magnitude, depth, date and time, distance from your current location and latitude/longitude.

** Visual and audio alerts are played within the app, so you know when a new quake has been detected.

** View time lines so you can see when earthquakes occurred, alongside the fullscreen 2D or 3D map.

** Time lapse playback on both 2D and 3D maps allows you to watch quakes as they occurred during a time period. Sound effects indicate the scale of the quakes during playback.

** Choose a date in history and view all the quakes that happened on that date. Watch earthquakes that unfolded on any date since 1973 using the time lapse playback feature.

** View graphs or lists of quakes that display colorfully the most important information to you.

** Sort graphs or lists in ascending or descending order by date, magnitude, depth, region and distance from your current location.

** View earthquakes that occurred within the past week, past day, past hour or on a specific date in history (since 1973).

** Browse detailed earthquake data and content on the USGS website from within QuakeViz.

** Manually select the location that QuakeViz will use when performing distance calculations. Choose a city in any country as your current location.
