This app is an IBAN Calculator and IBAN Validator. IBAN is an abbreviation of International Bank Account Number and is used to standardize payment traffic. SEPA is an abbreviation of Single European Payments Area. With the introduction of the Euro an uniform payments infrastructure wasn't established yet. With SEPA an harmonisation takes place of paymentsystems and paymentproducts and the difference between domestic and foreign payments disappears. This App specifically provides in the need to convert existing domestic accountnumbers (BBAN) to IBAN accountnumbers. Because of a focus on domestic accountnumbers, this App supports the following 17 EU Euro-countries:
