Approach Plates and Documents
Access to over 16,000 U.S. Approach plates, Airport Diagrams, Airport/Facility Directory Pages and Minimums Documents update every 28 days
Tab Based
Load airport charts into one of 15 different “tabs” organized into three categories. Fill your “tabs” with the charts you plan on needing before your flight, then it’s simple to switch between them when time is critical.
Save Tabs
Save the content of your “tabs” for later retrieval. This way, you can set up your charts for a common route you fly, save them, and then retrieve the tab contents again any time.
Dropbox Integration
Register for a free Dropbox account to be able to easily, and seamlessly view your own PDFs and images. This is perfect for international users. Simply drag a document into your Dropbox folder on your desktop computer and the document will instantly be available in FS Kneeboard 2.
Import Charts from the Internet
Switch to the browser tab and search the Internet for the charts you need. Once you find what you’re looking for (PDFs or Images), simply press the save button and FS Kneeboard 2 will automatically download the document into your Dropbox folder and sync it to your desktop as well.
Document Viewer
The Browser tab also doubles as a document viewer. Import your PDF into FS Kneeboard using Dropbox or by saving from the Internet and you can view the document in the browser.

Access to almost 200 IFR En Route and VFR Charts
Plot Your Course
Plot waypoints and course lines on top all of the above-mentioned charts
Weather Data
TAF/METAR
Download TAFs and METARs for over 12,000 airports worldwide. The last 10 airports you search are automatically kept in a list for easy retrieval.
Weather Radar Data (U.S. Only)
Search an airport in the Approach Plate tab, the TAF/METAR tab or the Radar tab and FS Kneeboard 2 will automatically find the closest radar station to that airport and display the radar map. There are also 13 regional radar composite images as well as a national composite image.
Satellite Weather Data
Works similarly to the Radar tab, but also has limited international satellite images as well.
Winds Aloft (U.S. Only)
FS Kneeboard 2 offers an interactive winds aloft viewer. Simply drag the small airplane icon up and down to display the winds aloft information for the selected altitude.
Surface Winds
Search an airport and FS Kneebord 2 will display a calculator that tells you the crosswind and headwind components for that airport based on the current METAR.
AIRMET/SIGMET/Prog Charts (U.S. Only)
Displays nine different AIRMET/SIGMET weather advisories and prog charts for the U.S.

FS Calc Fuel Planner
As an optional purchase from within FS Kneeboard 2, you can purchase the FS Calc module which adds FS Calc to FS Kneeboard 2. The FS Calc module is a one-time purchase so you don't have to purchase individual aircraft profiles. You get all current and future profiles for one price.
Note Pad
Take notes by writing on the screen with your finger. You can write onto a blank page, or load one of the preset background images.
Internet connection required for charts, weather and browser functionality.
