Teamstudio® introduces Unplugged, a powerful platform to extend your IBM Notes® and Domino® applications to iOS devices.
Unplugged provides organizations with online and offline access to their mobile applications, so that your workforce can have the flexibility and productivity that mobile access offers. Unplugged features:
•Support for custom built applications or implementation of customizable template apps
•Camera integration with photo upload
•Large file synchronization
•PIN code support for security at mobile app level
•Local data store
•Customizable multi-icon workspace
Developers can use the HTML5-based architecture of the Unplugged XPages Engine to create touch-optimized, visual, customized mobile apps for iOS. Developers can also make use of Unplugged Mobile Controls to develop custom application even quicker and remain consistent with branding guidelines.
To further speed up app customization and deployment, Teamstudio provides Unplugged Template apps for commonly-used applications and business needs. These range from corresponding IBM Domino templates, to applications for Sales and Marketing needs, Business Continuity programs, managerial approvals and more. The template apps can be used out of the box or as a starting point with opportunity to customize branding and functionality.
