V.I.P. ROOM , those Gothic letters that set fire to the clubbing world for more than fifteen years have become a cultural, media and artistic crossroads, symbol of “art clubbing”, where the whole world meets up. A meeting of talents, know-how, and a certain art of living, perfectionism and exchange of ideas has made V.I.P. ROOM an innovative “club”, creator of trends.
Jean-Roch decided to open his first large international nightclub on the legendary harbour of Saint-Tropez. In a few months this place became the “glam and trendy” place. With this success behind him, he decided to explore the clubbing world through spots such as Megève, Courchevel, Miami and Venice. His wish was to be in completely at one with his clientele, to create networks and connections, inspired by trends and to develop a trademark. As he likes to say “We don’t have the means to live a life of luxury, but we have decided to work on it…”.
The V.I.P. ROOM in Cannes is therefore a transient place never ceasing to surprise every year: revolving dance floor, Jacuzzis, trapeze artists, dancers, creatures, special effects, avant-garde technologies and “modern-day circus”, in front of thousands of dumbfounded fans and festival-goers. “Welcome to Hollywood Boulevard”.
A real back to beginnings for this native of the area called Saint-Tropez; a legendary village that the whole world is envious of. Jean-Roch decided to fix his V.I.P. ROOM symbol not far from this famous harbour. V.I.P. ROOM is an avant-garde concept, with contemporary design with walls of lights illuminating the Saint Tropez nights and holding stylishly exuberant summer parties. “Theatre of Saint Tropez dreams” where the restaurant area is talentedly mixed with his “famous” club: when dining at dawn, different kinds of multigenerational people meet and mix. The over-fifties mix with the golden youth who sprawl out to the rhythm of the greatest international DJs, these captains of music smiling to future hits. From big names in haute couture to lovers of the peninsula, a real Noah’s ark of the 21st century, they all get together in what Karl Lagerfeld would spontaneously call “the best club in the world”.
As a rule, the night prohibits categories; the European nobility cross the paths of night-lovers from all horizons and artists mix with millionaires proning to friendly agitators. Nicolas Rey admitted one day “I love the dangerous women with interminable bodies at the V.I.P. Room.” It is because of all this that Jean-Roch likes to continually drive his limits of partying, challenges and frontiers, as well as those of dreams forward. There is an ongoing rumour saying that he would like to talk to you about his projects in London, Dubai, Monaco and Geneva since following his philosophy “the best is yet to come”
