Clinicians’ Biosecurity Resource (CBR) is a clinical reference app for healthcare providers, providing information on the 6 biological agents that are highest priority for biological attacks. This app, developed by the Center for Biosecurity of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), is primarily intended for clinicians as a mobile reference during response to a biological attack, for learning about these diseases and how they might present in victims of biological attacks/bioterrorism, or as they come across suspicious or unusual cases of disease.

The CBR also provides access to Clinicians’ Biosecurity News (CBN), a twice monthly online/email newsletter that provides timely updates and expert synopses of new developments in a range of clinical research and practice areas that intersect with biosecurity and biodefense: infectious diseases, medical management, drug development, hospital and healthcare system preparedness, public health preparedness, and public policy. CBN articles interpret and highlight biosecurity implications of new research findings and clinical issues for salient current events.

The CBR includes clinical information on:

-Tularemia

For each pathogen, the CBR includes:
