The Golf Pilot combines ease with functionality by allowing our users to instantly locate pilot friendly courses nationwide, book tee times, arrange ground transportation to and from the golf course and access essential airport, flight and weather information websites to help them plan their entire flight. It is all a pilot needs to plan their next golf adventure, all in one place, all in the palm of your hand.
Quickly program in your airspeed and The Golf Pilot will locate every pilot friendly golf course within 1, 2, and 3 hour increments from any location or airport in the United States. 3 great location features allows you to easily plan a golf outing from your current GPS location or from any airport or zip code nationwide. Users are able to change their airspeed at anytime by clicking on the airspeed icon at the bottom of the page.
BLUE Flags represent all of the courses where there is a FREE ground transportation option from the airport to the course! And RED Flags have transportation options at the airport or nearby such as Rental Car companies whose phone numbers are listed in the app for your convenience.
Each flag will allow our users to view and read a description of the golf course, find and book a tee time, receive specific airport, flight and weather information, arrange ground transportation and receive driving directions to the golf course.
Not flying private? Not a problem! This app works great for pilots and non-pilots alike. Just click on the “non-pilot” icon when you register your app. Going on vacation and need a golf course recommendation in the area? Choose an airport or zip code you're traveling to before your trip and we'll find you great golf courses in the area; or just hit the GPS button from anywhere you are in the US and instantly all the nearby golf courses pop-up around you, making it simple to book a tee time and get directions from your location to the course.
Being golfers and pilots ourselves, our goal is to make a task that can take hours (finding an airport near a course you actually would like to play, and coordinating the entire trip from flight planning to ground transportation) into a really fun and easy adventure that only takes minutes.. and is completely hassle free!
