EasyOCR

EasyOCR is the OCR scanner for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch that won the second place during the first Italian edition of BeMyApp.

EasyOCR allows you to take a picture to a text and obtained immediately OCR text scanning. The processing waiting times are optimized than other OCR scanner for smartphones.

EasyOCR also allows you to upload images from the library without having to take a new picture.

Once you have the text it can be:
translated into another language;
saved to the clipboard;
sent emailed to your contacts;
sent as an SMS message;
sent as a post on FaceBook;
sent as a twit on Twitter;

The quality of the scan depends on the factors of exposure to light and by camera device angle. For best results you should have a good light and take pictures by holding the device parallel to the object to be photographed avoiding any glare.

They are allowed 5 free scans to allow evaluation of the App
