Commercial soaps are often made with animal fat and harsh chemicals to make them as inexpensive and long lasting as possible.
Many of these commercial products are not true soaps, but rather synthetic detergents. The natural glycerin is removed during the manufacturing process, to be used in other products. This lack of glycerin is the primary reason most commercial soaps dry your skin.
The soap you will be making does not contain petroleum products, animal fats or detergents. It also does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate, probably the most dangerous ingredient used in skin and hair-care products today.
It’s the wonderful ingredients that make your soap so truly luxurious. Natural, vegetable based glycerin soap turns even a quick shower into a healing experience. Its rich formulation gently cleanses, hydrates and stimulates the senses with pure essential oils.
