This highly interactive Exploriment App lets you explore the effect of gravity on weight and mass on different planets. You can also explore the effect of altitude on weight and mass and even of depth below the Earth’s surface. Use variety of instruments and free fall of a body to understand the effect of gravity in different scenarios. This app provides ample opportunities to try out various scenarios and compare the results across planets and varying altitudes, including scenarios of micro-gravity and near-weightlessness.

Weight and Mass on Different Planets
--- Interactively weigh objects and compare mass on Earth, Moon and other planets using weighing scale, spring scale and pan balance
Effect of Altitude on Weight and Mass
--- Select a planet and then compare weight and mass at different altitudes
--- Drop a body and observe how the speed of fall changes as the altitude increases
--- Explore near-weightlessness in an environment of extremely weak gravitational pull
Effect of Depth below Earth surface on Weight
--- Almost everyone knows what happens to weight as you go to high altitudes, but it can be a surprising discovery to find out what happens to weight if we go towards the center of the Earth
--- A trip down an imaginary tunnel dug through Earth, lets you explore how gravity changes as you move towards the Earth’s center
