**The best way to navigate NYC with young kids, grade-schoolers and teens.**
How can we get close to the Statue of Liberty all lit up at night? Which hotels have the biggest pools? Which museums offer sleepovers? Who sells cookies shaped like taxi cabs? Where are the best parks to bring my pet?
NYC Family Guide, a FamilyiTrips app, provides insider tips, off-the-beaten path adventures, and advice for locals and tourists alike.
NYC Family Guide follows the success of the highly-acclaimed DC With Kids and Boston With Kids -- iTunes’ travel Hot List Apps.
Created by award-winning travel journalists and packed with more than 200 family-friendly entries, NYC Family Guide puts the best places to be and things to do with kids of all ages right at your fingertips.
Learn how to explore the city by moonlight, the best places to stay with pets, and how to score tickets for Broadway and off-Broadway shows.
Whether you are a New York City parent, an empty-nester with visiting grandkids, or a vacationer seeing the city for the first or fifth time, the NYC Family Guide makes adventures stress-free and fun.
Features: 200+ entries, hundreds of photos and illustrations.
Features include:
*Top attractions. Learn how to navigate the big attractions before you walk through the door.
*Plan Ahead. These essential tips help guarantee you’ll get to see and do everything on your wish list, from sleepovers at the Museum of National History to starlight boat trips to the Statue of Liberty.
*By Ages. Zero in on activities and attractions for your children with the icons Young Kids, Grade Schoolers, and Teens.
*Fun Facts. Kids (and adults) love odd facts. Such tidbits are great for starting conversations with your kids. Did you know donkeys, camels and sheep routinely roam the streets near Rockefeller Center during breaks from their appearances in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular?
*Play Outdoors. Have fun paddling, biking, walking, riding carousels, strolling gardens, and chilling out in riverside parks.
*Sports. Get the lowdown on Mets, Yankees, Jets, Giants, Liberty, Knicks, Red Bulls and Rangers games, along with the scoop on family-friendly minor-league teams.
*Save Money/Free. Discover dozens of low-and-no-cost activities and strategies.
*Sleep. Locate hotels that pamper kids and pets.
*More. Been there, done that? Repeat visitors and locals learn about additional attractions, workshops and experiences.
*Map. Every entry has an interactive map that connects your location to your destination.
*Eat. Discover restaurants that serve awesome burgers, pizza, noodles, barbecue, and vegetarian fare. Our Treats Trail pinpoints where to find the best candy shops, Belgian waffles, gelato, cupcakes, bagels, cheesecake and ethnic treats, such as bubble tea and rugelach.
*Favorites. Create your own itinerary by listing what you want to see.
