Welcome to the wacky and wonderful world of BOQUITAS, a world filled with music, vivid colors and wild humor! In this peculiar and chaotic world modern technology intersects with old-world superstitions, UFOs are spotted regularly, aliens and ghosts might really exist, and fantastic monsters inhabit the forests.
Follow Candela, Cari, and their brother Beto as they venture on fun and mysterious adventures. Meet Diva, a chicken with an attitude, Pupilas, the cross eyed cowardly cat, and their superstitious voice of wisdom - the abuela (grandmother)!
Together, this mischievous group gets in all sorts of hilarious situations, even trouble - but they always take care of each another and stick together while realizing in the process that the world can be a very trying place - with many different people who have many different tastes or desires - and that we all have to learn to respect ourselves, to understand that it’s okay to be different, and to be tolerant and live together in harmony.
THE HUNT FOR THE CHUPACABRAS is the first story in the BOQUITAS series and tells the story of Diva, the chicken with an attitude, and Cari's favorite pet, who disappears into the forest just as the kids learn that chickens have been mysteriously disappearing without a trace. Could the mythic Chupacabra monster be responsible??? OH NOOOO!!!!!
