The Behind the Mile tour will guide you through the labyrinth of passageways in the Old Town, revealing hidden gems on the way. Want to get off the beaten track? The Escape the Crowds tour will take you to the tranquil Dean Village and the grand squares of the New Town, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The app features four city tours with maps, zoomable high-resolution images, and a game to play as you explore measuring your achievements against other teams. You can add comments and photos of your own, and send a postcard to a friend. Audio clips also help bring the buildings to life with insights into past residents and events.
