The ClubCinema App brings blockbuster trailers directly to your iPhone! ClubCinema stands for popular feature films of various genres, which are distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment (Germany) and offered at an attractive price. The free app provides information on the ClubCinema Movies, from "American Beauty" or "Die Welle" to "Transformers."
For all film lovers there now is a free app for these movies. It provides information on the entire ClubCinema program, consisting of a synopsis, cast information and stills. But that's not all: because moving images say more about a movie than words ever could, the trailer for every movie is available via the app as well.
The main feature of the app is that you can not only look up the movies via the app, but you can also scan the barcode of any ClubCinema DVD to get information about it. If you encounter a ClubCinema DVD at a friends’ place or at a store and are not sure whether you know the movie or will like it, simply press the "Scan" Button in the right hand corner of the app and keep the camera of your iPhone on the barcode on the back cover. The app will load the trailer for you and you will know what to expect of the movie.
In addition you can buy any DVD from the ClubCinema program using the app and you can visit the website of ClubCinema. On the site you can redeem the bonus points that are enclosed with the DVDs and receive rewards.

The barcode scanning function is based on the integrated camera of the device and is therefore only available on an iPhone. In addition iOS version 4.0 or higher is required.
The application can also be used on the iPod touch and the iPad but the barcode
scanning feature is not available on these devices.
