One of the most exciting weekends of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix 2011 here at Hong Kong Coliseum for Pool I and J set to take place from August 19 to 21, 2011 by the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong China (VBAHK). 8 teams from 2 pools will take place simultaneously on the third tournament round at stake with places for the Final Round in Macau on the line. China as the host will take on Poland, the Dominican Republic and recently qualified Kazakhstan over three days in Pool I while Pool J features defending champions USA, Italy, Germany and Peru.
The extravaganza in Hong Kong is the first time a city has hosted 2 World Grand Prix pools at the same weekend, proving added value and excitement for a competition which features 16 teams for the first time in its history.
The FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix is the premier annual women’s tournament with the 2011 edition running from August 5 to 28 in 12 cities across 7 countries.

由香港排球總會(VBAHK)主辦的屈臣氏FIVB世界女排大獎賽2011香港站於8月19-21日揭開戰幔!分別來自I組及J組的8支女排勁旅,於紅磡香港體育館同時進行的第三輪比賽,以爭取晉身澳門決賽的入場門券。東道主中國於I組迎戰波蘭,多米尼加共和國,和哈薩克斯坦;而意大利,德國和秘魯則在J組與衛冕冠軍的美國對壘。
香港乃首個城市於同一週末主辦世界女排大獎賽兩組賽事,為每年只有16隊名額的世界頂級體育賽事,奠下歷史新章。
國際排聯世界女排大獎賽是首屈一指的年度女子錦標賽, 2011年賽程於8月5-28日在7個國家共12個城市舉行。

Established in 1959, the Volleyball Association of Hong Kong China is the committee member of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), and the Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF & OC, HK China). She devotes her efforts over the decades promoting the development of the sport, nourishing the development of Hong Kong Volleyball delegation teams, supporting the training of coaches and referees, and hosting international events and local volleyball competitions.
香港排球總會成立於1959年,是國際排球聯會(FIVB)、亞洲排球協會(AVC)、中國香港奧林匹克委員會(SF&OC, HK China) 委員,多年來致力推廣排球工作,培養香港代表隊,支援教練和裁判隊伍發展,舉辦國際賽事及本地排球比賽等。
