Remember – Simple Fast Text and Voice Task Manager with Reminder Alerts
Remember is a Task Reminder app that was designed with simplicity and efficiency being the main goals.
It uses local notifications so it doesn't require an internet connection or any sort of account setup.
To create a new task:
- Enter a description by typing in text and/or recording your voice with the microphone.
- Pick a date and time that you want to be reminded about the task.
- Optionally pick a repeat interval. (every day, every week, every month, every year)
Other features:
- Unique, short, and noticeable bell chime notification sound.
- App Icon Badge shows the number of tasks that have expired but haven't been viewed yet.
- Set a task to snooze for a short time to be reminded of it again later.
- Find and reschedule expired tasks from the History tab.
- Tasks that just expired but haven't been viewed yet are highlighted in red.
- Tasks that are due today are highlighted in blue.
- Edit or delete scheduled tasks.
Note: Tasks deleted from the "Remember To" tab are moved to the History tab. Deleting from the History tab deletes them permanently.
- To mark a task complete before the notification for it fires, simply delete it, and it will move to the History tab.
Settings:
- "Disable Notifications" - You can now turn off all notifications with the flip of a switch, without having to delete them. Turn them back on just as easily. Great for vacations when you don't want your repeating notifications to bother you.
- "Shake to Record" - Shake your device while on the "Remember To" tab to instantly start recording a new task.
- "Picker Granularity" - Set the granularity of the time picker control to 1, 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
