BrixCalc is an app for home-brewers!
BrixCalc is used to convert refractometer Brix measurements into industry-standard Specific Gravity (SG) units.
BrixCalc calculates Original and Final SG values, whilst also taking into account the alcohol content of the final beer.
Features of BrixCalc Include:
- UNIVERSAL APP
BrixCalc supports both the iPhone and iPad.
- RETINA GRAPHICS
Retina graphics for all devices, including iPhone 5
- 9 EQUATIONS
Chose which equation you wish to use to calculate Specific Gravity and ABV values, including the popular final gravity cubic formula derived by Sean Terrill.
- CORRECTION FACTORS
Set a Wort Correction Factor, and Specific Gravity Correction Factor.
- DETAILED USER MANUAL
Read about all the features of BrixCalc, each feature described in full, and a 'Help!' section to aid you in getting the best results from your refractometer!

Remove annoying adverts
- BREW LOGS
Keep a record of your brews and their sugar measurements. Track how your beers are fermenting, and compare results by sorting your list of brews.

Visualise the progression of fermentation for each brew. Graphs make it easier to see when you've reached an end-point.
- iCLOUD
Synchronise the data you collect across all of your devices!
