PolttoaineGPS sovellus näyttää huoltoasemat ja niiden hinnat koko Suomessa. Asemat ja hintatiedot päivitetään tankkaus.com palvelusta useamman kerran tunnissa.
Kartalle on merkitty vihreällä nastalla hakuehtojen (settings) mukaisesti paras huoltoasema (esim. halvin huoltoasema). Punaiset nastat osoittavat huoltoasemia, joista hintatieto on tältä tai edelliseltä päivältä. Vaaleanpuneiset nastat ovat huotoasemia, joista hintatieto on korkeintaan 1 viikon vanhoja. Harmaat nastat tarkoittavat huoltoasemia, joille ei ole tehty hintatietopäivitystä.
Kartalla parhaimman huoltoaseman haun keskipistettä voi muuttaa painamalla karttaa halutusta keskipisteestä parin sekunnin ajan.
Näpsäyttämällä huoltoaseman nastaa kartalla, avautuu aseman sivu jolta löytyy aseman nimi, polttoaineiden hintatiedot ja päivämäärä jolloin hintatiedot on tallennettu. Aseman sivulla voit päivittää asemalle uuden hintatiedon näpsäyttämällä ‘Edit prices’ -nappulaa, antamalla uudet hintatiedot ja painamalla ‘done’ nappia. Hintatiedot päivitetään tankkaus.com palveluun.

PolttoaineGPS is a location based application which shows gas stations and their prices across Finland. Price information is provided by tankkaus.com, and updated on hourly basis.
The station with the best calculation value (settings) is marked with green pin. Stations with recent price information are marked with red pins, stations with a bit older prices are marked with pink pin and stations with missing price info appear as gray pins.
Long tapping on the map will move the calculation range to the selected point. It can be moved back to the user's location by pressing the bottom right 'center' icon.
Tapping on gas station pins opens a popup showing the name, date and the prices of the station. In the detailed station info view users can edit the prices and by tapping the ‘done’ button, prices are sent to tankkaus.com service.
