Of course, Charlotte is home to NASCAR. Any visitors want to get to both the new NASCAR Hall of Fame and the Lowe's Motor Speedway.
Of course, day trips include the spectacular Blueridge Parkway, charming Asheville (with the Biltmore Estate), wine country, the beaches, the sand dunes where the Wright Brosther flew and more.
