The King-Devick In Association With Mayo Clinic Concussion Screening Test is an objective, rapid sideline screening test for concussions which can be administered by parents, coaches, athletic trainers or medical professionals in minutes. Numerous peer reviewed supporting research published has shown that the King-Devick Test In Association With Mayo Clinic is an accurate and reliable method to help identify athletes with head trauma on the sidelines. It has particular relevance to sports such as football, hockey, soccer, and basketball in addition to all other contact or collision sports and to any situation where a person may suffer head trauma, including accidents at home.

The King-Devick Test In Association With Mayo Clinic measures the speed at which a series of numbers are read accurately. The test involves reading aloud a series of single digit numbers from left to right, taking less than two minutes to administer. The King-Devick Test In Association With Mayo Clinic can capture impairment of eye movements, attention span, language, and other areas which correlate with suboptimal brain function and therefore predict worse outcomes in concussion.

The King Devick Concussion Screening Test app allows you to test up to three subjects. First a pre-injury baseline test is established then post-injury testing may be administered as often as needed. It is recommended that a baseline is updated annually. If testing more than three subjects an in–app annual subscription can be purchased to add additional subjects.

Access to the King-Devick Test Online System is included for the first year. This browser-based system allows you access to athletes data wherever you are and provides sophisticated data management features. The athlete’s data is automatically backed up to the King-Devick Test Online System when an internet connection is available.

The King-Devick Concussion Screening app does not require an internet connection to administer testing.
