This portable record player lets you listen to all singles in your iphone/ipod library. Features wooden lightweight record player, easy to use controls, plays all standard speeds-33, 45 even 78RPM in brilliant stereo sound!
Compact wood case has built-in speakers, removeable plastic cover and line-out jack for easy connection to external stereo amplifiers or home entertainment systems.
The decade of the Fifties gave birth to Rock and Roll. When Bill Haley's Rock Around the Clock became popular in 1955, the nation learned to swing to a whole new sound. Prior to that the Big Band Era from the 40's was still the the driving force in music.

The young people of the time, an emerging force called teenagers, hadn't struggled through the war years. They were looking for something more exciting. They discovered that vitality in Rock and Roll.
During the Fifties both styles of music co-existed quite nicely.
If you were born in the 1950s, 60s ro 70s, it is very likely that you would have had a player similar to these at home.
