Including both textual and visual instructional material, this book has been prepared for the purpose of teaching salat (ritual prayer), which is a pillar of our Din (religion) and the miraj of a believer, in addition to those necessary adjuncts of salat, wudhu (minor ritual ablution), ghusl (major ritual ablution), and tayammum (ablution without water), as well as short chapters (surah) of the Qur’an and various important prayers (dua). It is a book that everyone, young or old, but especially our young ones, who don’t know how to pray, may learn from in a simple and loving way. Our publishing house is proud to present this text, which has been prepared specially for us by Mehmet Doğru, the retired mufti of Eminönü, Istanbul.
