Agile software development methodology is a set of practices where requirements and solutions evolve through collaborative efforts of all stake holders. Based on iterative and incremental development, the pioneers of agile have put together a set of principles called 'Agile Manifesto'.

Agile meter is a quick assessment tool to review your team's agility and how close are you with the principles of Agile Manifesto. The concept for the app is to allow a convenient way for a small group or team to take the assessment via their iPhone or iPad. It gives you a quick insight of your team's readiness to adopt 5 basic agile/scrum practices. These include:

1. Managing Requirements using a Backlog
2. Working in Iterations
3. Group Estimation
4. Daily Standup Meeting
5. Self-organized Teams

The more agile practices you learn about, the more prepared you are to take this assessment.

In this assessment, different roles are grouped under 'Team', 'Builders' and 'Planners' roles. You can take this assessment individually on behalf of your team or collectively in a group. It assumes that the one person taking the survey has input from the various roles or is facilitating the survey.

You will be able to see how well you scored for each practice after completion of the assessment and forward this to your team via email.
