The Level 3 Converged Business Network Savings Calculator is an interactive tool that enables businesses to see how network convergence could impact their telecommunications needs.

Network convergence allows business to meet multiple communications needs with a single network connection. For example voice and Internet services can be combined eliminating the need for separate services, bills, and connections. By combining services businesses could obtain savings as much as 50% over the cost of having separate services. Simply answer a few questions about the size of your business and your networking needs, and the tool calculates the appropriate bandwidth required. You can also enter your own bandwidth values. The tool uses industry standard metrics for data usage combined with industry standard pricing models, to determine if you could save by converging voice, Internet, and/or data services. Results are provided showing you the total percentage of cost reduction broken out by areas of savings, including bundled service pricing , reduced access fees and TDM vs. Ethernet configuration.
