Coffee Trip is the iPhone resource for finding local, independent, specialty coffee wherever you are.

Specialty Coffee is a niche market in the coffee industry that focuses on a higher quality coffee than what is typically available in most grocery stores, cafes, and restaurants. It’s coffee that is special in the way it’s grown and special in the way it’s processed, roasted, prepared and presented. Coffee Trip makes use of a carefully-researched database of the best independent cafes and roasters throughout the country that serve specialty coffee.

Coffee Trip can use your current GPS location or you can enter an address, city and state or zip to find specialty coffee shops and roasters located within a specified distance.

You can even enter the name of a particular specialty coffee roaster to find cafes that are serving their coffee.

Each listing includes information such as address, phone, distance, WiFi availability, cafe hours, and type of food that is served.

Coffee Trip is the iPhone companion application to the www.coffeetrip.com web site where you can find and create cafe reviews, map out a coffee crawl, search for local specialty coffee news and events, create lists of favorite cafes and roasters, and learn all about specialty coffee with how-to articles and more.

Cafe owners and roasters can maintain the information about their business on Coffee Trip by signing up for a free account at www.coffeetrip.com. It’s a great way for cafe owners to let iPhone users see daily information about events and which coffee origins are being served.
